“We Strive to Achieve!”
We have been operating in the Petrie area for over 25 years and have highly qualified, long-term staff who deliver a top quality educational program to all our children across our three rooms. Our classrooms consist of the following:
Toddlers 15mths to 2.11yrs
Pre-Kindy: 3-4 yrs
Kindergarten: 4-5 Yrs
In addition, we promote school readiness within our Kindergarten room to enable an easy and smooth transition for your little ones journey into their prep year and grade school. We are linked with multiple schools in our local area and attend regular transition forums each term to help guide your child’s adventure into big school.
If you are interested in putting your child on our “wait list” please do not hesitate to give us a call for an interview or just pop in and we will be only too happy to help.
Our Sustainability Commitment
We are part of the “Small Green Steps” program and as part of being a sustainable service, we understand that we produce a “carbon footprint” but it is always our goal to continually reduce our carbon footprint as much as we produce it.
Each year we review our carbon calculator and usage the figures gained to monitor our use and offset it on School’s Tree Planting Day by planting a series of trees/shrubs.
As part of our ongoing sustainable monitoring, we aim to plant trees, maintain our worm farm and feed our animals, as well as role model a more sustainable and healthy future for our children by nurturing our herb and vegetable garden beds.
We are committed to ensuring we continually embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People’s perspectives into our daily classroom programs. We celebrate their special days and weeks and focus on ensuring our service has a calm welcome feeling, that makes all our families and perspective families feel at home.
Through our yarning circle time each morning the children recite our services “Acknowledgement to Country” in recognition and respect to our local Elders, The Turrbal People.
